Designer’s Choice: Pairing Two Brick
Hamptons Inspired Design
Our previous Designer’s Choice blog, Pairing Two Contrasting Brick, showcased pairing Triangle Brick’s Oxford, from the Village Collection, and Full Color Antique brick, from the Downtown Collection.
This week, we are pairing brick that complement each other very well, the Northampton brick, from the Parkway Collection, and the Southampton brick, from the Seaside Collection.
A swatch of Northampton and Southampton is shown below.
As you can see, the colors in our Northampton and Southampton brick are high-contrast. The earthy tones, such as, browns, creams, and grays, of the Northampton, pair well with the lighter, warm base with gray, brown, and charcoal hues of the Southampton.
The natural tones of the Northampton brick can provide a clean, rustic texture and look.
The color palette of the Southampton is reminiscent of coastal homes found in New England.
Below are excellent examples of the Northampton and Southampton brick paired on a multifamily project and a single family home.
This multifamily project showcases the Southampton brick as the main color with the Northampton brick used as an accent.
Above, on this residential project, the Northampton brick is used as the main brick selection while the Southampton brick is the accent.
This pairing of our Northampton and Southampton brick is very popular and can be seen in various locations throughout North Carolina.
