General Summary:  Maintenance Technician

• Maintains and repairs various types of equipment (conveyor belts, chain and belt driven components, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot various types of automated manufacturing equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and PLC controlled equipment
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
• Experience and/or training in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Understand and troubleshoot 3 phase motor controls
• Ability to use a multi-meter to test and troubleshoot 24 VDC, 120 VAC, and 480VAC 3phase power circuits
• Ability to cut and weld steel is preferred
• All other duties as requested or assigned
• Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions

 

Skills and Abilities

• Prioritize SAFETY first, then QUALITY and PRODUCTION
• Experience working in heavy machinery industries and/or working with various levels of automated equipment
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
