General Summary:  Industrial Maintenance Technician

The industrial maintenance technician position maintains and repairs various types of equipment (conveyor belts, chain and belt driven components, etc.) in a plant setting; troubleshoots and repairs automated manufacturing equipment. The incumbent in this position will have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position pays based on experience, certifications and training but generally starts at $30/hour.

Skills and Abilities

• Maintains and repairs various types of equipment (conveyor belts, chain and belt driven components, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot various types of automated manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read and comprehend machine-specific manuals and drawings
• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience with multi meters
• Ability to cut and weld steel, is preferred
• Work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs.
