General Summary:  Controls Electrician

• Install, maintain and upgrade plant electrical equipment.
• Assist in the repairs of equipment not related to electrical equipment, as needed.

 

Skills and Abilities

• PLC Knowledge required; RsLogix, Studio 5000, Simatic Manager, Tia Portal
• Experience with VFD ( Variable Frequency Drives )
• Computer based troubleshooting; e.g. PLC and VFD
• Familiar with contacting Tech support; e.g. Fanuc Robotics 
• Troubleshoot Robotics
• Operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and to verify repairs
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code)
• Experience with Multi Meter
• Experience with Hand tools
• Communicate clearly with management and fellow team members
• Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner
• Able to return to work when needed for unforeseen breakdowns.
