Triangle Brick Partners with Lennar Charlotte

Operation: Coming Home

Triangle Brick Company is proud to have the opportunity to partner with Lennar Charlotte, who partnered with Operation: Coming Home by donating our Northampton brick, from the Parkway Collection, for the construction of Operation: Coming Home Hero Home No. 14.

Operation: Coming Home is national non-profit group with a mission to build homes for local military service members who have been severely wounded in combat -- in order to honor the sacrifices made by our nation’s military heroes.

The organization pairs with local builders who construct and donate the homes. Operation: Coming Home hosted a Key Ceremony to honor the veterans. This home coming ceremony was a huge success and many of the partners who helped make this home a reality, were present to witness this very special occasion.

In the most recent Key Ceremony for Hero Home No. 14, U.S. Marine SSGT Khris DeCapua and his family were welcomed to their newly built Lennar home. Khris DeCapua completed three tours of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan where his platoon was attacked. The ambush left DeCapua with traumatic brain injuries and migraines, as well as PTSD.

Constructed in the Waterside at the Catawba community, the home was built and gifted by Lennar of Charlotte. Triangle Brick Company donated the brick and our trusted masonry partner, U.S. Masonry Inc., donated the masonry construction at no cost.

Triangle Brick was awarded with a plaque from Operation: Coming Home in recognition of the brick donation made.

Triangle Brick is thankful for the opportunity to show this small token of appreciation to such an honorable man and his family. We hope they enjoy many years in their new home.
