BIA Announces the 2016 Brick in Architecture Award Winners

The program celebrates the use of fired-clay brick in projects from the past five years.

From New York to South Texas, the Brick Industry Association's 2016 Brick in Architecture award winners showcase brickwork that proudly represents the versatility and beauty of brick.

We love seeing clay cladding (brick) shine as a strong exterior feature in the award winning designs highlighted below.

Take a look at some of the winners below, and read the entire story here.

Like this look? We suggest pairing our Portsmouth brick with a Slate Tile (SW 7624) paint color for the  shutters and an Alabaster (SW 7008) paint color for the  trim, along with a Dark Walnut stain on the front door for this award winning design.

We are WILD about the use of accents in this design to create a stripe effect on the building. Try blending Triangle Brick's Sandstone, Chestnut, and North Carolina Red Wirecut brick from the Downtown Collection to achieve this gorgeous award winning design.

This stately design looks like it's been there forever even though there are three new buildings on this campus. If you like this brick selection, consider Triangle Brick's Old Charlotte brick from the Vintage Collection for a gorgeous exterior design.
