2015 SkillsUSA North Carolina Masonry Competition

The Next Generation of Masonry Contractors

The largest showcase of Career and Technical Education in North Carolina took place at the SkillsUSA North Carolina State Conference on April 22nd, 2015 at the Greensboro Coliseum and Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC. Over 2,500 students, teachers, and industry members were in attendance for the annual Leadership and Skills Conference. The competition included more than 1,700 North Carolina high school and postsecondary students in over 100 hands-on trade, technical and leadership contests. These contests span more than 95 trade areas from construction, masonry, automotive and welding to drafting, and more!

Each contest ran according to current business and industry standards.  More than 100 businesses and industry partners support the contests.  The student competitors that were present were prepared with the skills America needs and are ready to become leaders in the workforce.  To find a brief description of most of the competitions offered, please visit the SkillsUSA Competition Content Descriptions, here.
